St Anne’s School Headteacher Martin Winward said all pupils would be taught via distance learning packs or in online classrooms for the rest of the week.

Mr Winward said:

‘All primary children have received distance learning packs dropped off at their homes by a team from school to include reading books for this week.

‘Our young people in our secondary school phase are working from home with their teachers delivering on-line lessons via Google Meet and our Google Classrooms.

‘The site has skeleton staff this week and all areas of the school setting is out-of-bounds and should not be accessed by visitors.’
