Quay FM is broadcasting once more
1 min readVolunteers were broadcasting from the Quay FM radio station again after going out on ‘strike’ in the morning.
More than a dozen Quay FM volunteers resolved to down tools in support of their station manager, Robert ‘Dougal’ Bohan, who they felt was being pressured to step down as he neared his 65th birthday.
This morning automatic music played instead of the breakfast radio show from the station’s headquarters at Braye.
By 1pm today two directors had resigned and volunteers were once again broadcasting live from Quay FM.
Dougal Bohan was also back in the fold.
