Rugby training has begun again

Rugby training has recommenced after a three month hiatus because of the Coronavirus ban on contact sports.

On a sunny Monday night 18 turned out at 6pm for the first men’s session at St Anne’s School field. Attendees took part in passing drills and hit pads.

The first women’s session will take place at 6pm on 29th June. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Harry Symington, who runs the sessions, said it felt good to be back on the pitch.

‘It’s great to be back training with a top group of guys. There’s a 7s tournament in Guernsey at the end of August which we hope to compete in.

‘Rugby training is great for recovering fitness after lockdown, so come along!’

If you would like to attend and have any questions give Harry a call on 07781 167215.
