Avid planespotters today reported that an Aurigny ATR, callsign G-OGFC, making trial approaches from the east into Alderney at 4pm today.

An informed source said shortly afterwards:
“Following confirmation of the Public Service Obligation (PSO), Aurigny is working closely with Guernsey Ports on the various future options for the airport and the larger ATR aircraft is making low-level approaches into Alderney without landing to help assess the value of a longer runway.”
