It’s the perfect panto for an island full of evergreen thrill-seekers
Rehearsals for an ambitious Alderney Theatre Group production of Peter Pan have started in earnest ready for curtain up on three December dates.
The 22-strong cast includes regular performers and some new faces including several talented youngsters.
Scripted by Lee Flewitt this is Peter Pan… but not as you know it!
The talented local writer has re-imagined the panto staple with buckets of irreverent humour, cheeky double entendres, groan-worthy gags and lots of local colour.
Lee is combining writing duties on Peter Pan with directing alongside theatre veteran Charlotte Newton. Clever stage design, special lighting effects, unusual props as well as live music will make this a show definitely not to be missed.
There are three evening performances: Thursday 3rd, Friday 4th and Saturday 5th December at 8:00pm in the Island Hall and tickets (£10 adults, £5 for under 16’s) will go on sale early November at Chrissie’s Homewares Shop in Victoria Street.
